The Tamil Crown

The second outpost from the heroes that brought us The Tamil Prince, The Tamil Crown is a worthy follow up with their own lager on tap, the same kind of vibe given it’s at a residential local pub, with South Indian food and beyond that hits the spot. The only thing missing from the menu is a mutton roll but this place is forgiven. Every dish is cooked to perfection and packed with flavour, the flaky roti soaks up the curry flavours, and the mutton curry and chops do not disappoint. The Okra fries much like at the Tamil Prince are divine and are a must order. Wash it down with an ultra sweet Mango lassi or try a shrikhand which is a sweet yogurt based dessert with nuts. This place is excellent with a great vibe and buzz about it. Their cocktail menu is also worth a try, I’ll be back to tuck into a Sunday roast.
