Koryu

Koryu was a place I went with my younger brother while visiting Japan. The two of us did a trip to Osaka and I decided we’d do it up properly by having a kappo restaurant experience. I love a restaurant where it’s a counter experience only so you can get lost in the trance of watching masters work. The food was generous, the sashimi perfect, and the seafood rice was out of this world. Nothing like seeing the chef kill your meal right in front of you. It’s a meal to be experienced, I could go on and on about the salted egg yolk and how it brought out the flavour of my tuna sashimi, but it’s best you make a detour and give this place a go if you visit Osaka.
