Ebisoba Ichigen

After an almost 15 hour flight and the inability for me to check into my hotel, I wandered around Tokyo on my first day, adjusting to the time zone and getting reacquainted with my favourite city. I’ve been meaning to try this Ramen spot for ages, Ebi Soba does what it says on the tin, which is an amazing bowl of ramen rich in the flavour of shrimp. This is eye watering delicious ramen that will have you picking up the bowl to drink, it’s full of umami and at an extortionately reasonable price. Tokyo is the land of quality and value, you can’t have a bad meal here! Ordering is all done via kiosk, service is quick and polite. People are here to eat and go, no time to chit chat or in my case watch episodes of Brooklyn 99 on my phone. This was the best seafood ramen I’ve ever had. Walk don’t run.

Price per head: £5
