Sushi Rinda

Sushi Rinda was a recommendation from my brother’s friend in Tokyo. I got two suggestions from him and both hit the spot. I very much enjoyed the host screaming my name as I entered the small Sushi bar, as each piece hit my table every so often they would shout my name so I knew it was time to eat! The meal was a standout, they had a grill, so it wasn’t all raw pieces. The squid was buttery as hell, the hairy crab with steamed egg was very meaty. I think my favourite dish though was the smoked eel, right off the grill and into my mouth. I love a bit of perilla, and they did a mixed fish hand roll just as my stomach was reaching capacity. With a fish bone soup and tamago to finish, this is well worth the price of admission! Walk don’t run.

Price per head: £100 with a carafe of sake
