Mountain

I’ve been dying to try Mountain since it opened as I’m a die hard fan of Brat, which in some ways Mountain is the child of. This place does not disappoint, and with the location bang in Soho, it’ll be somewhere I visit often. Not a single dish missed the mark, the roasted duck was suggested and was absolutely banging, the spider crab omelette was perfect and almost too beautiful to cut into, and the smoked potatoes though simple in name were nothing short of extraordinary. With cracking service, stiff cocktails, this is a place to go with good friends so you can order the entire menu. Did I mention the wood fired rice, again so simple but so rich in flavour that I wanted to weep. Walk don’t run
