Azuki to Kouri

I’ve written a lot about Florige recently, and the trend continues with an off shoot in the dessert space. Azuki to Kouri is outrageously expensive shaved ice, but that would be too simplistic a description, this is art that you can eat. I’m not one for desserts and I rarely blog about anything sweet, and that will continue because the shaved ice I had was a Hassaku Orange and meringue. This type of orange that is a cross between a pomelo and mandarin; is not overtly sweet and has a bitter after taste, in the 22 degree heat though it’s a welcome refresher. This is a fun way to break up the day, it’s a tiny space but the service is brisk and sweet.

Price per head: £18 with tea
