Fishmarket

Once again, I find myself in one of my favourite cities in Europe, Copenhagen! Great people, great food, and a downtown core small enough that you can walk it in no time. I found myself alone for dinner and wandered by this place on my way to the hotel. Fishmarket has a great tasting menu, super friendly staff, and a swift service so you can be in and out in no time. The green peas with scallops were excellent, with very generous portions of scallops. The grilled sea bass with salmon roe in a buttery clam sauce was perfect. I love crispy fish skin, generous clams, and a rich ass sauce. I got to finish on a rhubarb mascarpone which I was barely able to finish. Portions here are rather generous. One thing that stood out was also my drink, I ordered a grapefruit soda which on the surface is basic, but man was it delicious! In a city full of great spots, this is a great shout if central.

Price per head: £64 with a grapefruit soda
