The Barbary next door

While The Barbary is undoubtedly a brilliant place, I was super curious to check out their sister” restaurant two doors down. The Barbary next door is a pleasant addition to the family but is by no means on the same level of quality. Yes, these guys do amazing breads and dips, but it doesn’t have the same flair or quality. I think the biggest difference is unlike the main attraction, this restaurant doesn’t benefit from an open fire which was where a lot of the most delicious dishes from the Barbary came from. Still, this is a quality spot with friendly staff and good food. The chicken on flatbread was a particular stand out. The wine collection was also rather unique, I was chuffed to get a glass of rose Txakoli which immediately got me thinking of a San Sebastián trip.
