The X Pot

This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of dining at The X Pot. This might be the most baller ass Hot Pot I’ve ever tried, I mean I don’t know of any Hot Pot location that has a Wagyu based Fixed menu. We opted for that menu, and thank God we did. It’s an immense amount of food, and was the perfect way to start off the Palo Sales Kick off in Vegas.

We got a few starters, the sashimi that included caviar, and uni were buttery goodness. The beef tartare was also excellent, the sesame seeds and wafer crackers gave it a lovely texture. It was time for the main course, the various cuts of Wagyu were immense, I talk a lot about Wagyu on this blog and there is more to come, but I will say having Wagyu in a Sichuan hot pot is a delight.

The course finished with some seafood; fresh prawns, sea-bass, and cod. However, the dish I wanna call out as the perfect end would be the Wagyu sandwich. It doesn’t even need the dipping sauce!

This is an upscale Hot Pot spot (If such a thing exists), amazing service and solid cocktails. If you need something for a filthy hangover, or you’re simply craving something that isn’t typically American. This is a great shout.

Price per head: $210 with drinks
