Roger’s Kitchen

I’ve wanted to try Roger’s Kitchen for a while now as I love curried goat. Lucky for me, Roger’s Kitchen is THE place to indulge in it given his secret recipe. This is a white table cloth joint which has a fantastic Saturday brunch menu. This is comfort food plated like a fine dining joint, Chef Roger himself is chatty as ever and takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable and enjoying the cooking. I started off with a glass of Prosecco as part of the brunch deal, follow by some salted cod with an apple puree. The main specialty though is the curried coat with rice and peas. The sauce is to die for and the goat is perfectly tender and juicy. The rice soaks up that sauce which must not be wasted! Roger’s is well worth a trip and a welcome break from the hustle of the Camden markets.

Price per head: £40 with a glass of Prosecco
