Chet’s

I’ve been meaning to try Chet’s for a while now. I love the combo of both sweet and spicy in Thai food and Chet’s has this diner vibe or so I thought when I was researching restaurants. Inside the Hoxton hotel in Shebu! This is a super buzzy spot with great cocktails and classic Thai dishes with a twist. My favourite was the pineapple rice; fragrant with chunky pieces of pineapple mixed in with herbs and spice before being finished with a generous portion of fried garlic chips. The loaded fries are a must, anything with spring onions, fresh chilli, and cheese is going to hit the spot. The whole fried onion was a left field choice but really good, who knew dipping fried battered onion into a spicy or soy dip would be heaven. Wash it down with a Watermelon cooler or one of their many cocktail choices and you’re in for a good night.
