Osteria Santa Caterina

We stumbled on this little gem because we were trying to get to a restaurant that was already busy. No shame in admitting this was not the primary choice, but I’m so glad we got to try Osteria Santa Caterina. This is a perfect spot to sit outside under a Portico, drink some wine and enjoy the finer delicacies Bologna has to offer. Specifically the Gramigna paglia e fieno salsiccia pomodo, this colourful meat pasta dish is delightful with the perfect pasta texture. Obviously I had more tortellini in broth and it was delightful. Seriously, why are you still reading this, run don’t walk and get to Bologna!

Price per head: £25 with a drink
