Gymkhana

Gymkhana is an institution, the crown jewel in the JKS restaurant family. This two Michelin star restaurant makes some of the most unbelievable Indian food. Where it be classic or more fusion/modern dishes, they are all done to perfection. We had the set lunch menu and all I can think about is going back and having the tasting menu in the evening. You will by no means leave here hungry, but all the dishes were so fantastic I just want to be glutinous and be rolled out of the joint. The chicken tikka and butter chicken were standouts, to my surprise I also thoroughly enjoyed the beetroot pau buns. Not a false note all meal, we opted for the additional desserts and they were sublime. Cardamom kheer with fresh mango AND a Saffron pistachio kulfi falooda. This is one of my top spots in London, never far from my mind and with good reason. I’ve eaten here with my wife, brother, and good friends. I look forward to returning repeatedly!

Price per head: £150 with a 1st Cru bottle of wine (Thanks Diks)
