Don Julio

This will be a short review, if you are travelling through Buenos Aires, you should stop and go eat at Don Julio. Lauded as the world’s greatest restaurant for steak, placed firmly in the world top 50 it doesn’t disappoint and has an almost party atmosphere while you wait for your table. We arrived early and put our names down, instead of simply wandering off, the staff ensured that people have a good time which is why Empanadas and Champagne are sold while you wait. The meal is as advertised, the most expertly prepared steak paired with some of the best Malbec you will ever drink. I told you, short and sweet. If in the region, do yourself a favour and eat here!

Price per head: £60 and up depending on the cut and how much wine you plan to consume!
